- Meeting of the Congregation – Tuesday 14 November
There will be a meeting of the Congregation on Tuesday November 14 at 8pm in the Worship Centre. The main item on the agenda will be consideration of the budget for 2018 but there will also be important reports relevant to the many exciting activities that take place within our congregation.
Please note this date in your diary now. The agenda for this meeting is available at:-http://wiki.gwuc.org.au/gwuc/CongMeetingAgenda20171114 or from the Steward’s table.
- With Love to the World
The new copies of With Love to the World are available for collection in the letter rack. Please make sure you collect your copy.
- Billeting needed
The church council have been trying to build a relationship with a church in Indonesia called “Riedel” Congregation in Manado, Northern Sulawesi, Indonesia. To cement our relationship 7 members including the senior minister are visiting our congregation from Thursday 23rd Nov to Monday morning 27th Nov. This is Lucky’s home church. So they will stay with us 4 nights. We are trying to billet the 7 with members of our church congregation. Please express interest to Neil Peters.
- Cleaning and Lawn Mowing Rosters 2018
Church cleaning and lawn mowing is done each week by volunteers. Four teams of 2 people each clean a part of the complex each week, taking no more than 2 hours. Please consider if you could give a couple of hours Friday evening / Saturday morning, 4 or 5 times a year in 2018 to help keep our church tidy. Please sign up on the list on the office counter if you can help. We will assume current volunteers are able to help again unless they have advised or please note otherwise on the list. Any queries to Herb Fleming.
