AIMS of this missional group are to provide fellowship, care and support for all groups within this faith community so that people feel and know that they are included.
Inclusive Community Committee meets regularly and receives several reports including prayer support, supportive care link (providing transport or meals when needed, usually following surgery) and Bereavement support.
Morning tea (light lunch)
is held after the 11am service once a month.
are held regularly after combined services so that people can meet others who worship at a different time.
Munch with a Bunch.
Lunches are organised for those who dine alone. These are held about every six weeks at a community restaurant.
Pastoral Care takes place in many different ways, within the congregation, including visiting by our pastoral care worker, telephone contact and group contact. Groups have a pastoral support person and we have some pastoral partners who contact people who are not group members. Sunflower welcomers are rostered for the 9.15 am and 11am services. They look out for newcomers and visitors.
