A time to have fun, meet new friends, play games and makes loads of crafty things for all children aged from 2 years to those in secondary school.
Children learn about Christian ideals and beliefs in a safe, supportive and most importantly interactive way. A structured curriculum is matched to events in the Christian calendar as well as exploring how scripture relates to everyday life and current issues.
Kids Church runs every Sunday from 5pm to 5.45pm during term time: directly after the 4.30pm worship. A scripture session also runs at this time for adults. From 6pm there is a yummy dinner served for the whole family for very little cost. You are welcome to join in what suits your family.
Children are grouped with others of their own age, and everyone comes together to celebrate our learning. There are five aged groups in Kids Church:
- Little Bubbles – from 2nd birthday and 3-year-old kinder students
- Big Bubbles – 4-year-old kinder and prep students
- Splash – grade 1, 2 and 3 students
- Xtreme – grade 4, 5 and 6 students
- The Grid – secondary aged students
All Kids Church staff have a current Working With Children’s Check and participate in a supportive team approach to teaching.
